I've strived hard to catch the bus early instead of resorting to trains at 7am. The supposed convenience of the newly-opened Circle Line has been sabotaged by cutting trips which meamt more walking, more chasing. Via bus, it'll just take me a walk-bus-walk-shuttle-walk routine. With train, it's bus-walk-train-transfer-train-walk-shuttle-walk. And time difference is quite negligible. The only catch with the direct bus is that I have no right to tell the alarm, "5 more minutes". So, I'm back... with my first old routine, bus to work.
Let's see, it's probably about my 50th day at new work today. Grasping the nature of my new function has been getting better and better everyday which gives me spare confidence to do other stuff that touches my creativity and thirst for new learning. Yesterday, I got to stumble upon bonjour.com which is just good for semi-beginners like me. French is not that difficult to learn. I used to spend my time with another French language tutorial site way back probably early 2008 and got amused with how I find it's little similarity with Kapampangan. French has silent H.
Recently, I've started scribbling Katakana again. I wonder if My Hiragana is still as good. I must start saving for Japan 2011 for sakuras in bloom. By then, I should be able to communicate with the locals there. That spells fun!
I'm still considering time allotment for Spanish since it's the easiest among the three languages I currently have interest on. I probably should get membership at the public library for audiobooks tomorrow.
So you may ask, why this new learning and all? Well if I want to take the course of life called Travel, I'm making New Language as a pre-requisite for a more effective and enjoyable Travel. Add to that another pre-req course of creativity called Photography. Oh Nikon. Sigh, life is not that cheap huh, most of the time.
