My Smiling Tummy

It has been known that I am capable of munching almost everything edible under the sun. And moon. ^^ And when I say almost, I really mean 'just almost' for there are exceptions of course which include buro, tamilok, to name a few and the most unthinkable exotic dishes.

For quite some time now in Singapore, so far these are the gastronomic delights that made my tummy smile. These are from my random thoughts, not in any known order.

1. Rosti
It's a Swiss dish made from the finest potatoes, shredded and fried together. Top the hot stuff with fresh sour cream and mmm mmm. Up to date, Marche gives the best rosti for me.

2. Saba Fish
It's that ordinary-looking fish served in Korean or Japanese restaurant or food court stalls. It's the same fish that makes you order for it over and over again.

3. Fried Salmon Skin
I think I kinda forgotten the taste. I got an idea! I want it to tickle my tastebuds again. Wisma Atria here I come for another round of buffet meal!

4. Fried Hokkien Mee
Food Republic. This is the best noodool for me.

5. Freshest Salmon Sashimiii
I la-la-love Jap food. Dai suki desu!

6. Prata
Two plain prata please! Until now I am not too sure what's the difference between fish and chicken curry sauce because whenever my prata is served I no longer care.

7. Pumpkin Soup by Spiral, Sofitel
When a very ordinary dish is served on the table, you find out that the taste? Exquisite. Now that is what you call cuisine! Just like how I appreciate people who can turn the ordinary into extraordinarily interesting, I give Spiral's pumpkin soup five stars.

8. Katong Seafood Laksa
I had traversed the long route to this remote stall in Paya Lebar infamous for its laksa. Seriously, the tiring walk and prolonged hunger was worth it.

9. Codfish Dish from Town Restaurant
Creamy, quite slimy but delicioso!

Random thoughts tell me I could just write again for part 2 in case I remember the rest of those that stuff my tummy and fill it smiling, just like this ^^. Til next time then!
