I Was A Schoolgirl

One of the most enjoyable daily routine is my 40-min bus ride going to work right before the ordinary yet phenomenal egg-yolk-like sun rises. Oh that makes me realize just now that my workplace, which is 3 or 4 train stations away from the World's Best Airport Of 2010 is the West.

So I'm seated in my favorite seat - 2nd deck of a double-decker bus, first row. Unfortunately, I'm in the aisle seat since window seat has been taken by this little schoolboy sleeping.

Little schoolboy reminds me of myself 15 years ago. I've been in maroon uniforms with tie, heavy bag with a lot of schoolbooks that I had to use trolley, I was so much of a kid then. Again, I'd be saying this - time fleets... That fast.

Pressing the fast-forward button, I'd be 40 in 15 years. If only I had known then what I know now, I'm probably wealthy already. But I was just an ordinary schoolgirl just like anyone else who only thought about play and study.

Oh well, this is probably the present's challenge, to learn from the past and change it. So that when I look back from the future, I don't have to look back with regrets and I-should-have's.
